SECURE A BRIGHT FUTURE.
Add network engineering to your computer skills, and get on a path to a great career that pays.
The Network Engineer certificate program teaches you to design, install, maintain, and repair local area (LAN) networks in residential, business, government, and industrial environments. More emphasis is spent on designing and security systems than in the Network Administrator certificate.
Demand for information technology (IT) workers is high and should continue to grow as firms invest in newer, faster technology and mobile networks. The S.C. annual mean wage is $65,600 for computer network support specialists and $90,080 for computer network administrators, according to 2022 reports from U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Pay can increase substantially with time and experience. For example, experienced computer engineers earn $110,300, on average annually in S.C.
