Beaufort County Dual Enrollment Eligibility

• GPA Requirements: Transfer program—3.0 GPA* / CTE program—2.5 GPA* (*unweighted 4.0 scale)
• Course Requirements: B average or above in English 1 (English and Humanities courses), B average or above in Algebra 2 (Mathematics and Laboratory Science courses)
• Recommendation by the School Counselor.
• Approval of High School Principal.

Beaufort County Dual Enrollment steps:

1. Apply to TCL here.
2. Connect with your High School Counselor to confirm that you meet eligibility requirements.
3. Obtain your school district’s Dual Enrollment packet from your school counselor, then return the completed packet directly to your school counselor. Discuss your course options with your counselor.
4. Attend your school’s registration event or have your counselor email your course requests to dualenrollment@tcl.edu. You will receive a registration confirmation email after you’ve been successfully registered for fall courses.
5. Register for Dual Enrollment Orientation.

Returning Beaufort County Dual Enrollment Student?

• Complete and submit the Beaufort County Dual Enrollment Packet to your High School Counselor. You must obtain the packet directly from your counselor.
