The HUB is your one-stop shop for career counseling, academic advising and financial literacy information. The HUB is located in Building 2 on the Beaufort Mather campus and at the New River and Hampton campus. The HUB is where you would meet with your assigned Navigator.
Each student is assigned both a Navigator and a faculty advisor. Your Navigator will primarily assist career counseling, first-year advising and will help you plan your courses for your entire program. Your Navigator can also provide general FAFSA and financial aid assistance as well as information about scholarships and other tuition assistance programs. Your faculty advisor will assist with more program specific questions as well as graduation application assistance.

The college is open Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and virtual on Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. For Assistance on Friday, please email HUB@tcl.edu.

Hannah Shuler
Hannah is originally from the small town of St. George, SC where she grew up with 5 siblings and spent most of her time at her dad’s veterinary clinic. She earned her B.A. in English from Clemson and M.A. in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from Michigan State. Hannah started working in higher education as a Writing Tutor at Tri-County Technical College and has held various positions in academic support over the last 7 years before transitioning to TCL. She is passionate about setting students up for success and helping them along their academic journeys. When Hannah isn’t at TCL, she teaches yoga classes, listens to audiobooks, spends time with her loved ones, and takes care of her pets Dumplin’ (Cat), Severus (Ball Python), and Little Foot (Leopard Gecko).

Alison Treasure
Alison spent most of her childhood years growing up on Hilton Head Island. After high school she earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the College of Charleston. Her passion for helping others has always been a priority but, her main focus has been centered on empowering students with the skills and confidence to explore their career choices. Before working at The Technical College of the Lowcountry, Alison spent many years working at both the Hilton Head and Bluffton Library. She enjoys yoga, reading and lazy days.

Natiema Busby
Natiema is a native of Hampton County. She has 3 children; two high school graduates and a pre-schooler. Prior to joining the team here at TCL, Natiema worked as a Private Armed Security Officer. Natiema received her degree of Associates in Applied Science-Criminal Justice Technology from the Technical College of the Lowcountry. She also earned her Bachelor of Arts from the Citadel. She enjoys traveling, cruising, spending time with family, and ancestral researching. Natiema is passionate about working with students to meet their educational expectations and looks forward to assisting students on paving a pathway to success!

Sharon Miller
Sharon currently works at the Hampton Campus as Campus Coordinator and is now the Hampton Campus Navigator. She has been with TCL for about a year and a half and have worked in state government for about 24 years. She resides in Allendale County and has one daughter. She is also a pet mother to Zion (dog), Zada (cat), and Zoey (cat). She enjoys reading, gardening, drawing, painting and sewing. A few fun facts: she has a twin brother, and she enjoys eating ketchup and sour cream in her grits!

Briana Wells
Brianna moved to the Lowcountry in August 2021 when she first began attending the University of South Carolina Beaufort. She graduated from USCB with her B.A in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration, as well as a member of the Honors program. She truly feels that the opportunity for her to receive a higher education changed her life in numerous ways, which is why she strives to give back to those around her and help them reach their academic goals and dreams. Her previous work in higher education includes working as the Office Coordinator for the Study Abroad and the Honors programs at USCB. In her free time, Brianna enjoys yoga, reading, traveling and spending time in nature.

Curtis is a native South Carolinian. Prior to becoming a part of the team, he served as an educator in Jasper County for 7 years. Curtis received his Associate degrees in Computer Technology and General Technology from the Technical College of the Lowcountry. He also earned his B.S in Technology Leadership with a minor in Career & Technical Education from Fort Hays State University. He enjoys reading, playing basketball & tennis, and traveling.
